Eighth Era has received a massive update which brings PvP battles to the game along with other major changes. Nice Gang and Perfect Day Games have officially launched the new Arena mode, giving players the chance to battle it out with each other… but there’s a catch.
What’s the Catch?
To be able to take part in the Arena, you need to hit Level 9 first. Once you’re there, you get to assemble a team from a pool of 50 heroes and dive into asynchronous combat. You’ll be competing against real players from around the world instead of just bots from now on.
The new update with the PvP Arena mode in Eighth Era is all about strategy. Every season, some factions get bonus stats, so it pays to know which heroes will give you that edge. Climbing the Arena Leagues comes with many rewards. And at the end of each season, the top players walk away with major loot.
The rewards aren’t just digital stuff either. Some tournaments will land you real-world collectibles if you can claim the top spots. The idea of shipping physical trophies to winners sounds like a great move by the publishing and development team.

And it Doesn’t End There
Season Two of Eighth Era is rolling out in late April with more collectibles. This time, you can score limited-edition coins featuring new playable characters. Finish in the top ten of the tournament, and you’ll get one of these coins delivered to your door.
Aside from the PvP Arena update, there are some quality-of-life improvements in Eighth Era. The reward system got a rework, so you can expect better loot from tasks and exhibits. Also, tournaments are getting some balance tweaks to make climbing the ranks a bit more fair and less of a grind.
Last but definitely not least, the game is teaming up with the US Mint. There’s going to be an Era Vault event where players have a shot at getting a Silver Eagle bullion coin. Yep, playing an RPG can land you a piece of legit American currency!
