Eltechs releases ExaGear RPG, an emulator for Android to play classic PC RPGs

Eltechs, the developer behind ExaGear Strategies which is an emulator to play certain PC games such as Civilization 3, has released a new emulator called ExaGear RPG. As you are probably guessing, this new emulator is specifically designed to play classic PC RPGs on your Android device such as Fallout 1 & 2 as well as some of the later titles in the Might & Magic franchise.

The interesting thing about Eltech releases are that they usually support specific games and franchise instead of being just an all-in-one emulator. For example, with ExaGear RPG, this emulator currently supports playing Fallout 1 & 2 as well as Might & Magic 6, 7, and 8. Like their previous emulator, this one uses ExaGear Mobile virtualization engine developed by Eltechs themselves which provides customization of classic keyboard contorls of RPG games but for touchscreens.

This means that PC games, in this game RPG ones, can be played without having to modify the actual PC copy of the game nor will they require internet access in order to play them. You do, of course, need to own a copy of them games you want to play as this does not come with the actual games. This is only an emulator to play them on your Android device of choice.

ExaGear RPG is available for download off of Google Play for free to try out. Unlocking the full emulator features is done through a single IAP. Support for more games will be added in the near future.
