Game studios Royal Games and AzDimension have unveiled the first teaser for their upcoming title Escape: Immersion. The game will launch in July 2026 on mobile and PC. The project has been in development for more than four years.
It’s an atmospheric horror adventure drawing inspiration from Inside and Little Nightmares. The story unfolds inside a collapsing underwater military base. It’s an isolated facility where steel structures groan under pressure and ocean water consumes what remains intact.
Visually, the game adopts a distinct VHS-styled presentation paired with a cinematic tone. It produces an unfriendly and oppressive atmosphere, giving the sense of psychological horror. The first teaser now offers the first glimpse of the setting and tone of Escape: Immersion
So, watch the first teaser of Escape: Immersion here!
Players begin the game without memories, uncertain of their identity or purpose, aware only that time is running out. Flooded corridors, failing lights and an unseen presence establish a setting with constant unease. You’ll find shadows shifting in dark passageways, with each step forward carrying risk.
Dynamic and unpredictable events intensify the gameplay. Every mistake can be fatal as danger is present at every step. While water steadily engulfs the facility, the greatest threat, however, is the things concealed in the darkness.
A classic linear adventure game, progress depends on quick reactions, environmental exploration, platforming sequences and environmental puzzle solving. Your survival hinges on adapting to unpredictable conditions, as dynamic threats and shifting scenarios can alter how situations unfold.
The developer, AzDimension, is an Azerbaijani game development studio that focuses on atmospheric narrative-driven games. The studio will share further updates on Escape: Immersion, including playtests and demo announcements, closer to launch.
Right now, you can check out the game on Steam as the mobile store pages are yet to be launched.
