Fairy Path: Toward the Forest’s Exit is a new jump-action game from Cerubero Games, now out on Android. Their other previous releases include Shark Punch, Left or Right and Detective logic game. Unlike these games, which were released in Japanese, the new one has been released for global players as well.
What’s the Story in Fairy Path: Toward the Forest’s Exit?
You are lost in a forest with only a glowing path and a tiny fairy for company. That’s the setup for Fairy Path: Toward the Forest’s Exit.
The game kicks off with a girl who suddenly finds herself in a mysterious forest. She meets a small fairy who guides her through the woods by jumping across glowing panels.
The controls are pretty straightforward. You just have to tap to jump and interact with the environment. During your journey, you’ll find cats and other cute animals.
The story touches on themes of meeting, parting, and hope. Visually, Fairy Path leans into warm pixel art. The music complements the visuals well.
There are a few modes to choose from in the game. You get a tutorial to get you started, a story mode that takes you through the narrative, and an endless mode for when you just want to keep jumping. The game also includes a mechanic where you reduce numbers to zero as you progress.
