Fate War is now officially live across the globe. It’s published by IGG and is a strategy title focusing on cold survival and tribe management. The game has an auction-based structure through Tribe Bounty, where you place fair bids.

Beyond Just Surviving the Cold

Set in a bleak post-Ragnarok world, Fate War unfolds on a remote island known as Sanctuary. It’s one of the last places where civilisation still holds on. With the gods gone and calamities sweeping the land, twisted creatures like the Blackforged have taken over.

You step into the role of a Tribe Chieftain. The setup is the usual, where you rebuild a settlement from the ground up. You manage the lives of survivors while keeping an eye on both internal development and external threats.

What’s unusual or not-so-common are the strategy mechanics like real-time environmental shifts in Fate War. Seasons change, day turns to night, and your tribe’s ability to grow depends entirely on how you adapt to nature’s mood swings.

Meanwhile, you manage four soldier types on the field. There’s a system that allows Commanders and Lieutenants to fight side-by-side. And by the way, the game lets you switch freely between portrait and landscape modes.

City-building plays a major role in the game. Citizens have jobs, relationships, and personal story arcs that span generations. There are roguelike expeditions, too, that change each time. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below.

Is it Fate or is it War?

To celebrate the launch, the devs are running special events for the first week. The Legendary Hero Challenge lets you complete hero development tasks and build up Gilding Points. You unlock items like a limited-edition portrait frame and a multi-kill broadcast ambience.

Then there are a few launch bonuses which include S-rank Heroes, castle skins, and special effects. So, check the game out on the Google Play Store.
