Tin Man Games has added Eye of the Dragon to Fighting Fantasy Classics. It’s out on all digital platforms today, including Android, iOS and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you like old-school dungeon crawls, this one is a blast from the past.

This Is Its Official Digital Debut!

It’s the first time the book has been available since 2010. It was written by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the entire series. Eye of the Dragon was first released back in 2005 during the Wizard Books reboot of the series.

However, it actually has its roots in a mini-adventure from Dicing with Dragons. And now, with this release, Eye of the Dragon officially becomes the 19th title in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.

Eye of the Dragon throws you into a classic monster-infested maze beneath Darkwood Forest. Survive long enough to find the Golden Dragon, which is the most valuable treasure in Allansia.

Your journey kicks off in a tavern in Fang, where a shady stranger offers you the chance of a lifetime. All you have to do is down a suspicious potion that might kill you.

The dungeon is full of danger and loot, including deadly traps, magical artefacts, scattered jewels and more than a few things with teeth. There’s even an imprisoned dwarf along the way who might be more than just another NPC.

Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book

Tin Man Games has brought in all the player-friendly features in this digital version. You get adjustable difficulty modes and a Free Read option if you just want to explore and not battle.

There’s an auto-mapping feature so you don’t get lost in the labyrinth. Also, you get unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet that keeps track of your stats and gear for you.

Eye of the Dragon joins the likes of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, and a bunch more, including Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions.

In fact, Tin Man Games has more titles on the way. So, check out Fighting Fantasy Classics on the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, be sure to read our news on Pikmin Bloom’s Earth Day Event.
