Build Your Own Intergalactic City in Final Frontier Story, Out Now

Final Frontier Story is a new adventure game on Android by Kairosoft, the Japanese game development studio. This one makes diving into deep space a lot more colourful and adorable. You get to build a warm and friendly intergalactic city in the cold vacuum of space.

Connect with the aliens in Final Frontier Story

What if your intergalactic base had a takoyaki stall, a cinema, and an alien-hosted garden party? I bet anyone will be up and ready for such a challenge! At least I am.

Set in an undisclosed year referred to only as Year X A.D., the story kicks off with humans landing on an unexplored planet. A flying object drops acorn shells from the sky, while unknown minerals glitter beneath your feet.

Meanwhile, your scouting robot loses contact after detecting water and oxygen. Soon after, a new signal cuts through the static. The message? Aliens have hijacked your robot.

Now, build a city from scratch!

You control a growing base where you get to turn barren terrain into a thriving city that appeals to tourists and residents alike. Parks, shops, food stalls, and entertainment spots become tools for city-building and for creating charm. It’s an actual metric you’ll need to boost to attract attention from across the galaxy!

The planet in Final Frontier Story has its own native monsters, though. You have to get rid of them using fighter jets and weapons. You’ll train pilots, upgrade your aircraft, and go up against local threats in real-time space battles.

The game, as you can see in the trailer, brings a cute 2D pixel art. It’s one of the most appealing attributes of the game, I feel. If you’re interested in checking it out, head over to the Google Play Store. It costs $6.99.
