Big news today coming from Gameloft as the company has officially announced a sequel for their popular MMORPG for mobile called Order & Chaos. The sequel is called Order & Chaos 2: Redemption and it is about time that we can finally talk about this game existing. We found out about this game a few days ago but were not allowed to talk about it just yet.
Order & Chaos 2: Redemption will be another full MMORPG experience, following in the footsteps of the original game. Gameloft took everything successful from the original game, put it into this sequel and expanded on it, while adding a lot of new features to it as well. Players will once again be questing and killing monsters through the world of Haradon.
While Gameloft is being hush hush about the features that will be coming with Order & Chaos 2, meaning we can’t talk about too much that we know just yet, the company did release some background story for everyone to check out:
In the eyes of the gods, there is no time, no judge, no order, and no chaos. Everything is eternal and there is only existence. Our lives are part of a cycle. We must experience what we can and learn from it.
At the end of Order & Chaos Online, the secret of Khalin’s Hammer and the location of the Primal Heart were discovered by heroes. With the power of the Hammer, the heroes sought to destroy the Primal Heart in order to put an end to all evil and save the world of Haradon.
But they were all deceived.
The destruction of the Primal Heart led to a cataclysmic event that destroyed the world, with the heroes dying one after the other. Evil had won and retreated temporarily. 600 years after these events, the world once again flourished and heroes began to be reborn into this new world – in their quest to save it from the coming evil and redeem themselves.
Without going into too much detail right now, we do know that the dungeon system in this sequel has some interesting additions to it, as are there some other really cool features debuting in Order & Chaos 2: Redemption. Right now Gameloft hasn’t announced a release date for this game, or a time frame for that matter, only that this game exists and it is coming soon.
