Gordian Quest is a deck-building RPG that’s now available on Android. Developed by Mixed Realms and Swag Soft Holdings, it was originally released in 2022 for PC. You step into a dark, cursed world where monsters roam free and cowards run for their lives.

Only a Handful of Heroes are Willing to Stand up Against the Chaos

Gordian Quest blends deckbuilding, tactical RPG mechanics and roguelite elements. The game takes a lot of inspiration from classic RPGs like Ultima and D&D. It also brings in modern mechanics like turn-based card combat, deep skill trees and lots of options for customization.

You assemble a party of heroes and take them on a journey to break the curse plaguing the land of Wrendia. The game features a full four-act campaign where you’ll travel from the dangerous lands of Westmire to the mysterious Sky Imperium.

But if you don’t want to play a long campaign, there’s also Realm Mode. It’s a fast-paced roguelite challenge that constantly changes up the threats. Adventure Mode lets you explore procedurally generated areas or test your skills in solo challenges.

Gordian Quest Brings Tons of Variety

You get ten different heroes to choose from, including the Swordhand, Spellbinder, Bard, Warlock, and Golemancer. You get nearly 800 active and passive skills spread across these characters. So, you can build an aggressive melee fighter, a support healer or a spell-slinging mage.

The turn-based combat is engaging, and the different game modes add tons of replay value. Between deckbuilding, skill upgrades, equipment management and party formations, there’s a lot to juggle in Gordian Quest.

So, grab the game from the Google Play Store if it seems interesting to you.
