Open-world ski and snowboard game Grand Mountain Adventure 2 has landed on Android. It’s the sequel to 2019’s hit game by indie studio Toppluva AB. So, what’s new in this one? Keep reading to find out.
It’s a Grand Mountain Adventure 2!
In this game, you’ll be shredding down massive slopes, dodging trees and pulling off wild tricks. Standing at the top of a towering mountain with snow crunching under your skis or snowboard, you’ll be on a thrilling adventure.
The world below is a sprawling winter playground, full of challenges, secret spots and even some unexpected activities. Like you can also paraglide and zipline your way around. There are plenty of challenges to tackle including downhill races, ski jumping, big air tricks and slopestyle courses.
The mountain resorts in the game are absolutely huge, with everything from well-groomed slopes to untouched backcountry trails. You can hop on a ski lift, take in the view and then bomb straight down. Or you can just wander off and carve your own path.
Grand Mountain Adventure 2 has different difficulty levels. There is an extreme Double-Diamond difficulty if you really want to test your skills. The trick system is deep, too. You can spin, flip, grab and slide rails. You can also pull off advanced moves like nose presses or tapping trees with your skis for style points.
Let’s Talk About the Extra Activities
In Grand Mountain Adventure 2, you can paraglide, zipline, longboard and try 2D platforming sections and top-down skiing as well. The devs have crammed an entire winter sports festival into one game, to be honest.
As you play, you’ll unlock new gear and clothes to suit your style. The game has great attention to detail. The mountain conditions keep changing, so you’ll deal with shifting weather, snowfall, wind, and occasional avalanches and rolling rocks.
