Gwent: The Witcher Card Game – the popular CCG that started life as a diversion in The Witcher 3 – will get a huge free expansion in December, adding 70 new cards.
Due on December the 8th, the Way of the Witcher expansion will add dozens of faction-specific cards, as well ten neutrals. The update will also introduce new mechanics and abilities, including a nifty new feature called Adrenaline.
Just like the real hormone, Adrenaline will be produced by specific configurations of cards, providing players with new synergies. So, on reflection, not much like the real hormone after all.
Ahead of the expansion you can pre-order several different bundles at the in-game store, allowing you to pick up premium Way of the Witcher cards in Card Kegs, as well the Alzur premium card and other helpful magical titbits.
