Hay Day is taking part in the Green Game Jam again this year, associating its latest event with a real-world environmental effort. The new Leave It Better event in Hay Day is part of Green Game Jam 2026. Created in collaboration with the Rainforest Alliance, it brings together farm decoration challenges, community goals, and conservation initiatives.

The idea behind the event takes inspiration from the old camping rule of leaving no trace. Instead of simply avoiding harm, the concept is of leaving the world better than it was found. According to Hay Day, Green Game Jam 2026: Leave it Better represents its Grow the Good philosophy.

A special Design Festival is now live

You can redesign your farms with a lush tropical theme. You can create and complete unique designs across your land. The festival acts as this year’s Green Game Jam activities inside the game. You can transform your farm with tropical-inspired layouts.

You can participate in the county fair, fill baskets, and earn flowers. You can then spend those flowers in a seasonal event catalogue containing exclusive rewards. It includes decorative items, such as gate guardians and wonder trees.

As you spend time building and caring for your farm, the game connects those activities to real-world support through the Rainforest Alliance’s Forest Allies initiative. The program supports communities working to protect and restore forests while also helping create sustainable livelihoods in some of the planet’s most biodiverse regions.

The event includes community-wide milestones as well. As players collectively reach major goals, the collab with the Rainforest Alliance will result in the planting of up to 20,000 real-world trees. The goal for players is to grow a million neighbourhood trees.

What’s The Rainforest Alliance?

It’s an international NGO that works to keep forests standing while helping farmers strengthen their livelihoods. It’s also involved in making the production of products such as coffee, chocolate, tea, and other everyday goods more sustainable.

If you want to be a part of it, grab Hay Day from the Google Play Store and participate in the festival event.
