Herocraft brings us a new multiplayer turn-based strategy game called Pirate Battles: Corsairs Bay

Herocraft has been making some pretty interesting games lately, with the Warhammer 40K: Space Wolf game currently in beta which is actually quite good, and now a new turn-based strategy game called Pirate Battles: Corsairs Bay which has just launched on Google Play. As you’re probably guessing from the game’s name, this particular strategy game is themed around pirates.

Since this game is themed around pirates, players will be partaking in naval combat with their own fleet of ships that they will be building up. While you are dealing with building a strong fleet to take down your opponent, players will also be building up their own pirate town on-land. This will server as your base for your pirate operations, whether that be building new boats, counting your loot, or getting drunk off rum which pirates like to do.

Pirate Battles: Corsairs Bay Features:

• Turn-based, multiplayer strategy game
• Invite Facebook contacts as friends or foes
• 4 types of battle, 6 types of pirate ship
• 100 levels, plus bonus levels
• Random battle events including appearance of monsters
• Fun features include stealing your friends’ gold

In true pirate fashion, players are able to steal their friend’s gold, because that’s what a good pirate friend does. Even though this is a multiplayer strategy game at its core, there are single-player missions and campaigns to play through as well. However, for the multiplayer part, there are four different types of battles to play against other people in. There also happens to be random events that happen during battles which can even include random monsters showing up and attacking both players.

If you’re into turn-based strategy games, you might want to check this one out. Pirate Battles: Corsairs Bay is available off of Google Play for free and does include optional IAPs as well. You can also check out the game in action in the video below.
