Hey look! Another App Store! This time by NEC!

Back in mid-December we reported on the dual-screen Android tablet that NEC was coming out with and you may or may not remember us mentioning that they were also planning to open up their own app store called Andronavi. Well if you have been waiting for Andronavi to open up for some reason, the wait is now over.

NEC announced today that Andronavi is officially open for business offering up a selection of games, tools, manga and photo collections among other items, mostly based around Japanese content. Also coming along with the opening are a bunch of Japanese style themes exclusively available only on Andronavi.

Sifting through everything, there are some cool little gems to be found on there, especially if you dig the Japanese style art. Right now though the line-up is a bit thin with each category only having a few pages each but you can expect more to become available over time. Currently it is just the opening line-up of apps and NEC BIGLOBE is stating that Andronavi should have around 60,000 apps available by the end of 2012.

Andronavi offers potential buyers the ability to pay with Credit Card or PayPal as well. If you are curious at all, go check it out. Good news, Angry Birds is on there.
