Dark Dome’s ninth game is here. After multiple escape and mystery games like The Girl in the Window, Beyond the Room and Escape from the Shadows, they have yet another mystery for us. It’s Hidden Memories that pulls you right into a tense and disorienting world.
It’s available on Android now following its late March announcement. The game sticks to Dark Dome’s signature point-and-click escape style, but with a heavier psychological twist this time. And there are some cameos here and there from the Dark Dome universe as well.
It’s Lucian’s Hidden Memories
Lucian wakes up with no memory, in a place he doesn’t recognize, surrounded by puzzles he doesn’t understand. So, you’ll be piecing together a mind fractured by something darker than amnesia.
As Lucian retraces his steps through the night he can’t remember, memories start to resurface in bits and pieces. One girl keeps appearing in these fragments. She might be the key to getting out. Or she might be the reason he’s trapped in the first place.
The town of Hidden Town, where everything unfolds, is more like a maze of guilt, secrets, and surreal encounters. You’ll recognize it immediately from past Dark Dome titles, if you’ve played any of them.
The gameplay leans on exploration and deduction. Tap, search, combine. But there are some not-so-straight puzzles as well. For example, a firework rocket becomes more useful once it’s rigged with adhesive tape. A brush with ink and a tiny table soccer ball becomes a makeshift false eye.

There are haunting side challenges
You’ll be asked to find 10 hidden shadows throughout the game. These are strange figures that only appear if you’re paying close attention to the background.
Then there are the voodoo dolls scattered across your path. Each one is tied to a soul that hasn’t moved on. You get to play through short mini-games that show their final moments and secrets. Sometimes, helping them pass on means just seeing their stories. Other times, it’s about solving something they left behind.
The game includes nods to earlier entries. Delian, a familiar character, returns for a second appearance. Dr. Freyer shows up on an ID card. And you’ll also notice the four-armed statue from Escape from the Shadows’ catacombs. Even the medallion you get after solving the picture puzzle is a callback to Nowhere House.
