Feral Interactive has opened pre-registrations for Hitman: Absolution on mobile. It’s coming to Android this autumn. Developed by IO Interactive, it was originally released in 2012 on PC and was the fifth entry in the Hitman series.
On Android, however, it’s the second Hitman game. Hitman: Absolution is the sequel to Blood Money – Reprisal, which dropped in 2024. So, yep, Agent 47 is heading back to mobile, and this time, it’s personal.
Making its mobile debut more than a decade after its initial launch
The mobile version of Hitman: Absolution includes customisable touchscreen controls, support for gamepads, and even keyboard and mouse functionality. There’s stealth, distraction, disguises, and an evolving sandbox.
Running on Glacier 2 technology, the mobile version retains the cinematic flair of the original. There’s the distinct art direction and detailed level design, with gritty noir film-style voice acting and character animation.
In terms of the story, the world’s most infamous assassin finds himself on the wrong side of his own agency. After being sent to eliminate his former handler, 47 is forced to confront the people he once worked for and his own beliefs.
You can expect 20 missions, where subtle disguises, environmental tricks, and brutal firepower all offer different paths to the same outcome. You’ll be sneaking past guards in a borrowed outfit and clearing an entire room in seconds using Point Shooting.

Pre-Register now
The game is expected to release on September 25th. It will be available for $14.99 on both Android and iOS. Feral Interactive will also release it on the Nintendo Switch in late 2025, with native Switch 2 support planned for 2026.
