Honkai Impact 3rd is about to drop its v8.1 update, Drumming in New Resolutions. The exact date of launch is February 20th and there’s a lot to look forward to. There are new battlesuits, outfits and anniversary rewards too.
Let’s Look at What’s New
Kiana is back in action with her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star, ready to set the battlefield on fire. Armed with a long staff, she swings through enemies with a 4-sequence attack that dishes out Fire DMG and stacks up Passion Marks for some solid AOE damage.
Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM boost her abilities even further, making sure that enemies feel the burn. Herrscher of Human: Ego is also getting new gear, with a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM and stigmata set to match.
Story-wise, Honkai Impact 3rd v8.1 is giving us more insight into Leylah. After the whole Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana is finally back in the real world, teaming up with Rice Cake and getting another mission from Theresa.
This time, they’re heading to the Moon Base for a festive celebration. Playing through the interlude will let you rack up Crystals, Source Prisms and other goodies.
Also, there’s a fun board that you can activate and collect Yearly Chibis to build your team. You can also stack up shop tokens to trade for Crystals, Coralie’s new outfit and plenty of other rewards.

And Who Else Is Getting New Looks?
Apart from Coralie, Luna and Vita are stepping up too. Luna’s new outfit is available from spend bonuses and Vita’s outfit is dropping in Outfit Supply.
And finally, there are the anniversary rewards. Just logging in daily for seven days gets you a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem and more.
Keeping up the login streak for seven days after the update, and you’ll score Kiana’s Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human’s new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.
Between February 25th and March 4th, logging in gets you an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and more. And as a thank-you, everyone will be getting five Battlesuit Supply Cards when the update goes live.
