HTC Rezound knocked down to $49 from Verizon Wireless

Verizon has one heck of a deal going on right now for the HTC Rezound. If you’re willing to sign a two-year contract, the Rezound can be yours for only $49.99 after a promotional discount and the standard contract discount. There are no mail-in rebates to be had here.

The HTC Rezound was released late last year. It’s by no means an old phone, but we all know that Android smartphones tend to have shorter life spans than phones on other platforms. The Rezound is also expected to be replaced by the HTC Incredible 4G this month, so that may explain the drastic drop in price.

The Rezound is not completely outdated either. It is expected to officially get Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 3.6 sooner rather than later. It’s also compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE Network. You’ll be getting really fast data speeds that many would argue is the best the United States has to offer at the moment.

Here are the basic specifications for the HTC Rezound.

– 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
– 1GB RAM
– 16GB internal storage
– 4.3-inch 720p HD super LCD display
– 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video recording
– 2-megapixel front camera
– Beats audio
– 4G LTE compatible
