Introversion will finally be releasing Prison Architect onto Android this October

Earlier this year Introversion Software announced that they would be bringing their popular PC game Prison Architect to mobile at some point this year. Well today we finally have a bit more of a formal time frame as to when this game will be arriving onto Android devices.

Prison Architect, in case you didn’t know, is a prison management sim that covers pretty much every aspect there is when building and running your own prison. This also includes, eventually, the problems big prisons have to deal with such as overcrowding and fights. Players will start off with a small little prison and will eventually be building it out into a massive correctional facility, adding staff and criminals along the way. You will also have to keep your inmates happy.

The original announcement today was for the PC version leaving testing phases and getting officially released in October. As it turns out, the plan is to also have the tablet version launching at the same time. Introversion is planning to keep the mobile version of Prison Architect as close to the PC version as possible. So we won’t have to wait too long to get to play this on our tablets.
