Ire: Blood Memory will be getting a massive update in the near future

Back in May of last year we did a review on an Action-RPG called Ire: Blood Memory which was, for the most part, a pretty positive review. Well apparently even with a lot of positive reviews and a pretty solid fan-base, the game itself seemed to struggle a bit. So the developers (Tenbirds) have decided to develop a rather large update that will essentially overhaul a large portion of the game.

Since this game is similar in its gameplay style to titles like Dark Souls, the developers will be adding controller support in this update. So you’ll be able to sync up your Bluetooth controller of choice, and proceed to enjoy the game in a more console-style of gameplay. Speaking of gameplay, the developers has also stated that this update will bring major changes to the attack speed of your blade, lethal attack cool-down time, quest difficulty, increased ballista damage, and dodge distance.

Another major change coming to the game is the pricing of the in-game currency in relation to real world currency. Before the update, players are essentially paying $0.10 for 1 Gem. After the update, the ratio will change to 1 Gem for $0.01 instead.

Visually, the game will be getting its graphics improved in quality as well as optimization. This also goes for the game’s overall running performance. In-game recording will be discontinued as well with this update. Ire’s Item System will also be getting tweaked as well, where full items will be available for armor and weapons, so that ascension is a bit easier to attain.

Of course there will be new content arriving with this update as well. A new world map will be making its debut, with new quests and rifts. A new Dual-Wielding weapons class will also be arriving. The UI will also be totally reworked, including things like inventory structure, ranking display, item selling, and deconstructing equipment screens. There will also be a Black Market opening up where you can exchange items.

According to the developers, Ire: Blood Memory will become more difficult in a variety of ways including crafting top tier items. So they suggest that anyone playing right now may want to try and farm the materials needed to make those top tier items now before the update arrives. Lastly, there are some additional features being considered for this update including Raid Mode, Reward Distribution Method, and Player Messaging. These particular features are not 100% confirmed to arrive with this update, but there is a good chance they will.

The Ire: Blood Memory update was slated for release in January 2016 but due to the sheer size of it, Tenbirds is looking at a February/March 2016 release instead. They are even considering a beta testing phase for this update and if that happens, we will post an update so you can sign up for it.
