One of the features that gives Amazing Alex, Rovio’s latest release onto iOS and Android, a ton of replay value is the fact that it comes with a level editor where players can create their own levels and then share those created levels with everyone else. Today it seems Rovio is hinting at what could be that same feature but for Angry Birds instead.
The folks over at AngryBirdsNest spotted a new image that Rovio posted over on their Facebook page which looks to be hinting at the possibility that a level editor is indeed on the way to Angry Birds. The image includes a caption that says “Decisions, decisions, decisions” which further supports the idea of a level editor heading our way.
Needless to say this could serious breath new life into the Angry Birds series. With the sheer amount of players who still play Angry Birds, there would instantly be a ton of new content for everyone to play with an endless amount of levels being developed and released over time. Of course this is all speculation but the clues look pretty promising. When more information is released, we will be sure to update everyone.
