Coatsink is bringing its relaxing city-building game to mobile. Actually, they’re bringing Islanders: New Shores to mobile. It’s releasing on November 20th as Islanders: Mobile for Android and iOS, with full Game Centre and Google Play integration for leaderboards and achievements

It will bring the same serene visuals

Islanders: Mobile lets you dive into new shores, with a minimalist world where creativity meets calm strategy. Each level begins with a blank island canvas and a handful of buildings in your inventory.

You have to think ahead when deciding where to place them, since each structure interacts differently with its surroundings. You get points based on placement efficiency, unlocking new buildings as you progress.

When your city grows large enough, you can move on to the next procedurally generated island, continuing the discovery and the design. If you ever run out of buildings, that’s when the round ends, with the peaceful settlement you’ve built before diving into another.

Islanders: New Shores Mobile includes two distinct modes, High Score and Sandbox. They have separate saves to let players switch between competitive and creative moods. The Photo Mode lets you capture the most picturesque layouts, with filters and a rotating camera for the perfect angle.

There are 44 unique building types and 7 distinctive island properties. You get 50 dynamic island generators, so no two sessions ever look the same. And there’s a gentle 75-minute original soundtrack which provides a soothing background as you construct and expand.

Islanders brings New Shores to mobile with boons

The devs have also added a new feature called Boons. They act as one-time power-ups and allow you to duplicate buildings in your inventory and replace buildings you’ve already built. Each boon offers an intriguing new twist on how you go aboutbuilding your town.

If you’re interested, you can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store.
