With Christmas and New Years over for 2015, and being a few days into a fresh new year, this can only mean one thing and that is its time for CES 2016. Like always we will be there, checking out all the latest and greatest in regards to Android, whether it be a bunch of new devices, new peripherals, or whatever else you can think of. There’s always something good for Android gamers at CES.
This year there are some pretty obvious trends and products that will have a pretty heavy presence at CES. Everything related to Virtual Reality will be there in full force, whether its headsets like the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, new games or development tools, or peripherals to play games with. If it is related to Virtual Reality, it will be at CES this year.
There’s plenty of non-Android related trends that will be there as well. IoT (Internet of Things) and the connected home will also be at CES in full force this year. Connected cars (including Android Auto) and self-driving vehicles will also be pretty big at the show and, of course, there will be a ton of TV related technology shown off and announced. There also will be plenty of PC gaming related goodness as well. There will also be Drones… a lot of Drones.
We will be there checking out all the press conferences tomorrow, including ones from Samsung, LG, Lenovo, Hisense, Huawei and so on. We have meetings/interviews set up with numerous companies including LG, Samsung, Nvidia, and plenty of other gaming related companies. Like always, if there is something specific you want us to check out, or ask during any of our meetings, just let us know below. We will also have as many of the press conferences live streamed here as we can.
Regarding the show’s schedule, today is essentially badge pick-up day, along with CES unveiled happening. Tomorrow is a ton of press conferences, and then the showroom floor opens up on Wednesday and goes on until the end of Friday.
