Jump King has soft-launched on Android. It’s a 2D platformer game that was originally launched on PC in 2019. Developed by Nexile, it’s getting published on Android by UKIYO. The game has also released multiple free expansions since its launch.
Where Is Jump King Soft Launching?
The game is available in the UK, Canada, the Philippines and Denmark. It will land on mobile for players in other parts of the world soon. The game is free to play in the regions where it has soft-launched.
Now, Jump King is all about the art of the jump. There’s a Smoking Hot Babe at the top and you’re climbing towards her. That’s all the motivation you need. There are no mid-air corrections or safety nets. Hold to charge, release to jump and try to land where you intended.
The higher you go, the harder you fall. Every misstep sends you tumbling back down, potentially undoing hours of progress in seconds. So, you’re battling gravity and your own impatience. You start with 20 hearts, and every time you fall, you lose one.
And if you run out, you either wait for the daily fortune wheel to bless you with 5 to 100 free hearts or you can pay up. It’s a tactical leaping adventure and it lives up to its name.
You Get Expansions in the Mobile Version Too
After you manage to conquer the base game, there’s more to explore. Two expansions, New Babe+ and Ghost of the Babe, come free with this version of Jump King. On that note, let me elaborate what these two expansions bring.
New Babe+ throws you into a world that looks familiar but isn’t, challenging you to prove you’ve truly mastered the jump. Ghost of the Babe, on the other hand, takes you into a desolate land past Philosopher’s Forest. Here, you start questioning why you were even climbing in the first place.
You leap, you fall, you curse, you try again—that’s Jump King. If you are in one of the soft-launch regions, then try the game out from the Google Play Store.
