Lara Croft is back. Feral Interactive has officially brought Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light to Android. So, you get a fresh way to experience Crystal Dynamics’ isometric tomb-raiding adventure and blast undead enemies while solving ancient puzzles.

Originally released in 2010, the game’s highlight was (and still is in this new version) co-op gameplay. Unlike other games in the Tomb Raider series, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a non-linear arcade-inspired action adventure.

This Time, the Stakes Are High

In the game, the world faces the threat of eternal darkness. The only one standing between civilization and total doom is Lara Croft. Armed with her signature dual pistols, she’ll have to dodge, grapple and outwit an army of the undead.

But that’s not her goal. Her goal is to take down Xolotl, the Aztec god of death. You can grab a friend and team up in online co-op in this twin-stick shooter. The best thing about Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is that iOS and Android players can team up due to cross-platform play.

This Mobile Release Doesn’t Skimp on Content

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on Android brings in all fourteen levels from the original while the three DLC packs are free. So, there’s a lot of hidden collectibles, high-score challenges and extra weapons and stat-boosting artefacts.

This version also lets you tweak the touchscreen controls to your liking or just hook up a gamepad if you like playing with controllers. The game is available now on the Google Play Store for $9.99. You can check it out if you’re interested.
