Machinka Museum Is a Room-Esque Puzzler with Alien Artifacts, Out Now on Android

Machinka Museum, Plug in Digital’s Room-esque puzzler, is out now on the Google Play Store.

The game sees you solving environmental puzzles in a series of eerily silent, weirdly decorated rooms in a museum. The principal exhibit in this museum appears to be a set of alien artifacts, and as you solve the puzzles contained within them you “uncover a galaxy-spanning story”.

Machinka Museum is clearly derivative, not only of the Room games but of The Witness and other environmental puzzlers of that ilk. Plug in Digital cops to that in the Google Play Store description, throwing Machinarium in too for good measure.

But all three of those games are amazing, so Machinka Museum is on to a good thing. The Steam version, released about a month ago, has “very positive” user reviews, though the Google Play version is sitting on a suspiciously low 2.5/5.

In any case, you can download it for free and give it a try before forking out $5.99 to unlock the full game.

Machinka Museum is available on the Google Play Store right now.
