Telltale Games, Complex, and Magnum Opus Games have teamed up for a short 30 minute documentary called Telltale Games: Story Mode which dives deeper into the history of the company itself. What is pretty great about all of this is that they released the documentary for free, which means you can watch it here right now.
The documentary follows the start of Telltale Games back in 2004 when they released games like Telltale Texas Hold ‘Em and Bone, and how they went from that to titles like Game of Thrones and Minecraft: Story Mode. It’s a pretty interesting look at how a game studio went from a small indie developer team to making games based off of major franchises.
