Second Dinner has launched a Halloween update for Marvel Snap, the Undead Horde season. In this event, all the spotlight is on the Marvel Zombies. The new season also brings new ways of how matches play out.
There’s a fresh keyword called Horde
The Undead Horde season brings a new ability to Marvel Snap. Whenever a card with this ability is dropped, it powers up your existing Zombie Horde. If you don’t already have one on the board, the game spawns a new Horde at another location.
For the character roster, Marvel Snap has introduced zombified versions of some recognisable heroes and villains from Earth-2149. Zombie Scarlet Witch headlines the Undead Horde Season Pass. Headpool shows up in the Super Premium Pass and also appears in Seasonal Series 5 packs.
You’ll also notice the return of popular limited-time game modes
The Sanctum Showdown will be live from October 15th to 22nd, asking you to dominate locations to secure victories. Then, from October 27th to November 3rd, the Grand Arena will be live again. It lets you step into the ring with unique champion decks.
Two new locations are also part of the update. The Deadlands boosts the spawning of extra Hordes, making it a nightmare zone if your opponent is already ahead on the undead count. Meanwhile, the Survivors’ Camp offers extra card draws and ways to strengthen your Horde.
Lastly, there are some new cosmetics to chase. The Undead Horde season introduces special-edition variants. You can look forward to the Cyberpunk and Tarot-themed sets, shop takeovers, featured collections, and new album content.
