Mech Arena: Robot Showdown is a New Robo Blaster From Plarium

The simple fact is giant mechs are cool. You want one, we want one, and we’re all cursed to live in a time where we can’t have one. Mech Arena: Robot Showdown from Plarium – the developer behind Raid: Shadow Legends – could be the next best thing, though.

The game sees you taking a stompy robot into fiercely pitched battles, reducing your opponents to steaming heaps of bolts. And it’s out now on the Google Play Store.

You’re blasting your way through multiplayer battles in a number of different modes – 5v5 team deathmatch, 2v2 deathmatch, 5v5 control point capture and custom games. There are 15 different mechs to choose from, and you can customize them with weapons and armor too.

There are 23 different maps to fight on, and different styles of mech to suit the way you play as well. Basically, there’s everything you wish you could have in real life, but in a game on your phone.

“We designed Mech Arena: Robot Showdown from the ground-up to be an accessible and balanced pick-up-and-play shooter on mobile for all ages and skill levels,” said Aviram Steinhart, CEO of Plarium. “Casual shooter fans looking to play a few quick rounds can jump right into the action. They’ll be able to have fun battling with different weapons, maps, and mech customizations, without committing to serious competitive play against more dedicated players.”

The game is free, with in-app purchases, and you can click here to download Mech Arena: Robot Showdown from the Play Store right this darn second.
