Medabots, or rather Medarots in Japanese, are coming to the West. In the form of a game. It’s Medarots Survivors, which has opened pre-registration on Android for global players. The mobile game launched its Japanese version earlier this year.

Medarots Survivors is an action game where you constantly fight for survival as hordes of enemies close in from all directions. You basically guide your Medarot around the battlefield while its attacks fire off automatically. You work with a limited fighting force, so picking which Medarots to recruit becomes important.
Over 60 playable Medarots will be available right from release. Some let you erase clusters of enemies with missile barrages, while others clear tight spaces by sweeping away anything that gets too close.
There are even Medarots built around traps, letting you funnel mobs into damage zones. Speaking of diversity, you’ll even spot all sorts of animal and insect motifs across the roster. For instance, there’s a cheetah-like unit that hovers on multiple limbs.
Medarots Survivors brings that bullet heaven rhythm of stacking upgrades and mowing down enemies by the hundreds. A feature called the Medarots identity makes the whole thing a chaotic mechanical spectacle. Catch a glimpse of the game here.

Imagineer is publishing the global version of Medarots Survivors on Android. The team faced some trademark hurdles, which left the game hanging around since 2018. With this upcoming launch, they’re hoping that the next one in the global list might be Medarot S: Unlimited Nova.
