[UPDATE: Game Released] Mediocre Games is Bringing Another Unique Game to Android April 23rd

Mediocre Games Studio is a game developer that has created very enjoyable, challenging, and beautiful games. The games they produce are anything but Mediocre, which makes the whole premise behind their name unique. If you have played their games such as Granny Smith, Sprinkle, Sprinkle Islands, or their most recent graphically alluring, and enormously fun game Smash Hit, then you know exactly what I am talking about.

[UPDATE: April 23rd, 11:51 PM, PST] The latest unique offering from Mediocre Games Studio is now available to download in the Google Play Store. Does Not Commute is a strategic driving game that is certain to be as popular as Smash Hit, Sprinkle or Granny Smith, which Mediocre Games also created. You can download Does Not Commute for free. There is one in-app purchase for $1.99 to unlock the game. The link to download the game can be found at the end of this article.

Not too long ago, we heard that Mediocre Games was working on a new title. We saw a short, but amusing clip, of a game called Does Not Commute. You have a bird’s eye perspective of a small city, and you see cars traveling about. It seemed interesting, but not too much more information was given. Just about an hour ago, Mediocre Games released a new trailer of Does Not Commute, and we learned much more about what is sure to be their next big hit.

“Does Not Commute is a temporal paradox in which you have no one to blame but yourself. What starts out as a relaxing commute in a small town of the 1970’s quickly devolves into traffic chaos with hot dog trucks, sports cars, school buses and dozens of other vehicles. You drive them all. Plan ahead. Don’t be late.” – Mediocre Games Studio

You start off driving one vehicle, and once that path has been created, you start driving another vehicle. The paths that you create with your vehicles continue to loop, until you crash into one of those paths. In the latest trailer, you see how quickly chaos occurs. If you have played any other of the games produced by this studio, you know that there are always interesting things that are revealed to you, as you play the game longer. It is part of what makes playing their games fun, and why their games are so accessible to a broad base of gamers.

Take a look at the latest video below that they uploaded to YouTube. It looks amazing. Let us know what you think about it. Are you a fan of Smash Hit or Granny Smith? If you are, you don’t have to wait long for this next game. It will be released for Android and iOS on April 23rd. Next week is right around the corner!
