Erabit Studios is gearing up to drop the final episode of the Methods series. Methods 5: The Last Stage is now open for pre-registration on Android. Finally, we’ll get to play and see what happens in the final chapters 86-100.

In case you haven’t been following it, Methods is a Visual Novel series where detectives and criminals duke it out in an insane competition. It’s part murder-solving, part mind games and some drama. It’s about outsmarting everyone else in the room.

Love Sleuthing Through Mysteries and Unraveling Crimes with a Unique Twist?

Let me recap the previous parts for you. A hundred detectives enter a bizarre competition where they have to solve crimes by the smartest criminals on the planet. If you’re the best detective, you get a million dollars. However, if a criminal wins, they also get parole.

In the fourth installment, Methods 4: The Best Detective, you saw Detective Ashdown and Detective Woes clear Stage Four. Between a plot to expose the Gamemasters and a meddling troublemaker named Catscratcher, you’ll now get end it all in Methods 5: The Last Stage.

Just like the previous episodes, you’ll get 25+ interactive crime scenes and a story that spans over 20 chapters. The game drops on February 14th, 2025, so you can pre-register for it on the Google Play Store.

Methods 5: The Last Stage Comes with a Bonus DLC

The DLC Methods: The Illusion Murders is a bonus story that gives you a deeper look at Detective Red July, who’s all about tackling impossible crimes. There are three victims standing in a triangle, shot with one bullet. That’s the case she needs to solve.

The story behind The Illusion Murders actually started as a idea tossed around on Twitter back in 2020 when a fan casually asked about Red July’s past. It’s already available for PC players. Why don’t you catch a glimpse of it right here?
