The sequel to Munch Time, Munch Time 2 differs itself with exploration in a “metroidvania” style.
As a chameleon like the first game, much of the gameplay is centered around vine swinging. As you interact with a tribe of “Leaflets,” you will also encounter numerous enemies to face off against. Puzzle solving is also required (which can be done using the chameleon trait of color changing). There may be a lot of exploration but according to the developer Gamistry on Pocket Gamer the title is actually a “love letter to Donkey Kong Country.” A leveling system is included to improve the main character throughout gameplay.
Besides Android, Munch Time 2 will also be hitting iOS, PC, and consoles, so you can get your Munch Time fix almost anywhere. You’ll have to wait since the game isn’t set to release until next year.
