Niantic has unveiled the initial details for Season Six of Monster Hunter Now. Called Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam, it’s arriving on June 19th, 2025. The season is introducing a variety of new weapons, new skills and novel challenges.
New Riftborne Monsters Are Here!
Season Six of Monster Hunter Now is bringing Riftborne monsters. They are creatures mutated by unusual rifts in the environment.
The additions to the roster of Riftborne monsters when Season Six launches are Rathian, Tobi-Kadachi, and Barroth. These enhanced creatures manifest at 8-star difficulty and beyond.
Next, the hunting horn is a new weapon type coming to the game. You can use it to confront the intensified threats and tackle new challenges across the board. The instrument offers both offensive capabilities and crucial support to allies.
Here’s how it works. While attacking, you accumulate notes. By aligning the notes in a specific order, you can trigger various melody effects.
The effects include increased attack and defense stats, Special Gauge acceleration, and more. For instance, the Magnificent Trio (SP) ability resets the duration of any active melody.
What Else Is in Store in Monster Hunter Now Season Six?
A new feature called style customisation is also being rolled out. It’s a system that offers a profound modification to how weapons function. It allows you to upgrade weapons of grade 8 or higher by boosting your statistics.
Season Five is drawing to a close, having brought creatures like Glavenus to the game. Now, prepare to track down and battle Nargacuga, alongside Beotodus, Bishaten, and Great Wroggi. You’ll also encounter monsters like Jyuratodus, Anjanath, and Barioth.
Then there are plenty of customisation options, too. Each weapon will gain access to two distinct new styles. The style you choose will alter both long-press actions and combo sequences.
