As part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now is launching a special event called Spring Hunt 2025. It’s an online paid event that will run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. Also, the spotlight in this update is on the elder dragon Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

The Spring Hunt 2025 requires an event ticket that you can grab from the Monster Hunter Now shop. You’ll unlock uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring only Chameleos. So, there won’t be any waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Also, you get to snag some bonus Chameleos-themed layered gear.

Then, there are the Event Exchange Hubs in the Spring Hunt event. Two hubs will be available, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub opening from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m.

You can collect tokens by slaying large monsters or elder dragons between May 19th and May 25th. You can then trade them for stuff like a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.

Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?

Chameleos is known for pulling off stealthy tricks and breathing out a strange fog that messes with visibility. Starting May 24th, 2025, you’ll be able to jump into Elder Dragon Interceptions and go head-to-head with the vanishing menace.

If you’re ranked 100 or above, you’ll be able to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they go into a preliminary state. This begins at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. Chameleos is especially vulnerable to Fire, Dragon, and Blast, so build accordingly.

Taking the beast down will let you forge the new Mizuha Set armour, which comes with a handy skill called Chameleos Venomist. It halves the time poison and venom affect you, and also makes it easier to poison your targets.

The weapons you can craft using Chameleos materials span across a ton of categories. There are Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade and Bow. So, grab Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and gear up for the Spring Hunt 2025.
