On the occasion of Halloween, Mortal Kombat Mobile has rolled out a huge update featuring Ghostface and Kitana. WB Games and NetherRealm Studios launched Update 7.0 with new characters, arenas, and more.
Ghostface and Kitana in Mortal Kombat Mobile?
Nightmare Ghostface needs no introduction. He slices his way into the game as a Diamond Character and joins the growing Nightmare team.
The slasher from Woodsboro allows you to switch between two Ghostfaces in the middle of a fight using a special Extra Attack button. Each switch builds Ghostspirit stacks, which can trigger Manic Mode for an aggressive power boost.
Ghostface also comes with a Death Save ability. It can activate up to three times when you’re running a full Nightmare squad. It lets him jump in and deliver a last-second blow before defeat hits.
Next up is MK II Movie Kitana. She’s a Diamond Outworld and Martial Artist fighter modelled after her film counterpart. Kitana now wields a new Extra Attack minigame.
It lets you time her hits to stack Piercing, a high-impact effect that removes enemy buffs and stops opponents from tagging out. She’s available in early access through the new Kombat Pass: Season of Screams, with her full release scheduled for November.
The Season of Screams runs until November 1st
You can unlock Ghostface as the featured Diamond Character on the Premium Reward Track. Completing the Premium Pass offers early access to MK II Movie Kitana before her official debut. Also, new Kameo consumables and Ascended Gold Characters appear within the rewards.
The Realm Klash game mode has evolved into Klash Towers. You must build towers using randomised cards featuring characters, gear, and Kameo Fighters. Each tower serves as both a defense and an offense. Winning battles grants Kunai Points and moves you up the season leaderboard.
Grab Mortal Kombat Mobile from the Google Play Store and celebrate Halloween with Ghostface and Kitana.
