Fans of horror games have a new one to look forward to called House of Grudge. Developed by Gameday Inc, House of Grudge is a horror adventure game that features the ever popular ‘room escape’ style of gameplay. If you’re not familiar with what this is, it is pretty much just like it sounds. Every time you escape a room, you will be in another room where in order to leave that room, you will need to solve whatever the puzzle happens to be in that particular room.
These sorts of room escape horror games have done pretty well for themselves on the mobile gaming markets. In fact Gameday Inc has two previous releases where the download numbers total over 30 million, so the company isn’t new to the horror game genre. Interestingly enough, this particular game actually comes with a warning from the developers, whether it is a serious one or not, it is pretty entertaining anyways to have one said.
We added horror to the elements of escape genre, such as combine, dismantle, puzzle and trick, so we think players can meet with a new experience. And we all put a lot of hard work into the graphics and sounds for uprush of fear. As players proceed, the background scenario will be revealed. This scenario is very capturing, so it could help players to concentrate on the game. House of Grudge does look pretty good visually and the overall feel of it is pretty dark, so it should do well with horror game fans.
