New Weapon, Hardcore Mode, and Royale Pass Season 12 in Latest PUBG Mobile Update

The latest PUBG Mobile update is out, and it adds a new weapon, reinstates Hardcore mode, and kicks off Royale Pass Season 12, among other things.

In case you’ve forgotten, or simply weren’t around back when PUBG Mobile players were made of sterner stuff, Hardcore mode strips out sound prompts and forces you to do stuff like open doors manually, instead of letting the butler-like AI do it for you.

The Season 12 Royale Pass is a Birthday Present to Players

The new weapon is a DBS, a member of the shotgun family that can fire two shots at once and holds 14 shots in the magazine. It can be equipped with a scope and laser sights.

The Season 12 Royale Pass, meanwhile, will start on March 9th. Named “2gether we play”, the new season celebrates PUBG Mobile’s second birthday. It adds heaps of new gear, challenges, and rewards, as well as access to the mini-games at the Amusement Park in the Eragel Map.
