Nexon has finally brought a version of their rather popular racing game KartRider to Android. While this isn’t the original version of the game, KartRider Coin Rush does bring most of the gameplay found in the original title along with some extra features and slight changes to the gameplay.
KartRider, for those of you who don’t know, is an extremely popular multiplayer racing game from Nexon which was supposed to arrive onto Android some time ago. The franchise is a pure kart racing style of games similar to that of Mario Kart in terms of racing, visuals and having power-ups to use against opponents. So far it really hasn’t been released and instead Nexon has released KartRider Coin Rush instead. This version does come with multiplayer support but the focus is more on collecting coins than just winning the races.
While the point of the game is still to win races, KartRider Coin Rush focuses heavily on coin collecting as well. For example, in single players mode, the 1st place driver can still collect coins for a short period of time while waiting for other opponents to finish. In Multiplayer, it is about whoever collects the most coins before the time runs out wins the match.
For those of you who want to get a little KartRider action going, you can pick up KartRider Coin Rush off of Amazon’s AppStore for free. No word on if or when it will arrive for Google Play.
