Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds Marks 300 Days Since Launch with Newbie-Boosting Content and Events

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, Netmarble’s hotly anticipated mobile addition to the popular Ni no Kuni franchise is celebrating its 300th day of active service with a massive content update, new servers in Asia and North America, and a couple of month-long events.

We’ll let you know what all that means shortly. First, a quick recap for those of you who are yet to experience the joys of the Ni no Kuni universe.

Developed by Level-5 (Professor Layton) and Studio Ghibli (My Neighbor Totoro), Ni no Kuni is one of the most beloved RPG franchises on the planet, thanks to its well-balanced gameplay and captivating cartoon-like art-style.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is the first game in the series to be developed specifically for mobile, and it sees you crossing into the Ni no Kuni gameworld via a fictional virtual reality game called Soul Divers.

Once you’ve made the journey between realms you’ll spend your time meeting a colorful array of characters, working your way through an epic campaign, and exploring a huge and vibrant open world.

It’s rad, and thanks to the welcoming content for newcomers, the Newbie Support System, the gamers can fulfil their Ni no Kuni journey to the fullest.

The new Newbie Support System is aimed at helping new players to get up to speed in double-quick time by completing Swift Solutions errands, Conquest missions, dungeons, and more.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds now showers newcomers with rewards and XP. There are First Clear Rewards and Bounty Keeper rewards, while practising in the Duel Yard lets you earn Training Points (redeemable for, you guessed it, rewards).

You can also obtain growth support for doing fun stuff like playing Tetro Puzzles, while a whole new sub-economy of Newbie Coins lets you pick stuff up cheap at the Newbie Shop.

On top of this expansive new feature, there’s also a 300-Day Celebration Check-In event, which lets you claim a ton of valuable gear over 28 days, and a 300-Day Celebration Roulette Event, which sees you spending Roulette Coupons on lucky wheel spins.

So even if you’re an established player, and thus unable to take advantage of the Newbie Support System, there are still plenty of goodies on the table.

Ni no Kuni: Cross World is available for free on the Google Play Store, the App Store, and PC
