Noodlecake and Majic Jungle team up to bring The Blockheads to Android soon

Noodlecake Studios have been doing an excellent job bringing some of the more popular iOS games over to Android over the past while now and one of their next releases will be the ever popular Minecraft-inspired The Blockheads by Majic Jungle Software. This particular game is pretty interesting as it looks like a spin-off of Terraria but actually plays out a lot like Minecraft, especially when it comes to building things.

You’ll have everything you would expect to find in a game inspired by Minecraft. Exploration, mining, crafting and building are all apart of The Blockheads. When it comes to geography in this game, there happens to be seasons, an Equator and even a north and south pole. For those of you who enjoy multiplayer in these sorts of games, The Blockheads does comes with multiplayer as well for up to 32 different players on a server.

In regards to hosting your own server though, we are not 100% sure if they will be porting over their free Mac application which allows for hosting of one’s own server. If they do, that will make plenty of people happy. There is actually more to do in The Blockheads than in Minecraft in a lot of ways.

As for when The Blockheads will arrive on Android, no set date has been announced but we probably have a bit of a wait to deal with, it is a big game to port over.
