Originally debuting during a Humble Bundle recently, Glorkian Warrior: The Trials of Glork will finally be hitting Google Play in a more permanent official capacity. Thankful, this new version for Google Play comes with copious amounts of cake as well as your very own Flarf gun as well to shoot your enemies with.
[UPDATE: March 11th, 2015 – 11:00 PM-PST] If you are in the mood for something a little different with your gaming, your game has arrived. Glorkian Warrior is now available to download in the Google Play Store. The costs $2.99 to download, and there doesn’t appear to be any in-app purchases within the game. If you enjoy games that Noodlecake Studios produces, then the link to download Glorkian Warrior can be found at the end of this article.
If you are not familiar with this game, Glorkian Warrior is a weird yet enjoyable Galaga-style game, meshed with some simple platformer action, and then slathered with Saturday Morning cartoon style visuals and humor by acclaimed comic book artist James Kochalka. The game itself is developed in conjunction with Pixeljam, James Kochalka, and is published by Noodlecake Games. Essentially you will be running back and forth a la Galaga-style shooting alien-like creatures floating around in the sky.
Of course you will have plenty of weapon upgrades to help you eliminate these pesky aliens including triple lasers, the ever potent Tennis Ball gun, and of course, the dreaded Flarf Gun. There will be a lot of these aliens to shoot and there will be a lot of times that you die since the games continuously gets harder and harder the longer you survive.
Glorkian Warrior: The Trials of Glork will be arriving onto Android this Thursday, that’s March 12th, 2015. This particular day is turning out to be a very important date for reasons we can not yet talk about. At least we can talk about this one though! Picking up a copy will run you $2.99 and, as always, we will post an update when this game arrives.
