Omni Systems’ unique atmospheric RTS game Eufloria HD has arrived

Having made a cameo appearance back in the Humble Bundle 4 for Android, Omni Systems has finally launched their atmospheric RTS game called Eufloria HD. This rather unique RTS title won’t have robots, futuristic structures or different alien races to battle against or play as with 3D-ish rendered graphics. Instead it is all plant-based with great ambient music and a really unique art style to it. If you got the Humble Bundle 4 for Android, then you are already enjoying this game.

If you were unfortunate enough to miss the Humble Bundle 4 for Android, here is how the game works. Eufloria HD is all about exploring, colonizing and growing as you try to conquer different asteroids in space. Just like any good RTS game, you’ll have to gather resources from whatever asteroid you happen to be on and using those resources to grow creatures and plants which will follow your commands.

Eufloria HD Features:

– Designed for both phone and tablet devices
– Beautifully designed touch screen interface
– A 25 level “Story Mode” with many hours of gameplay.
– “Relaxed Mode”, for a more ambient experience which anyone can enjoy.
– “Skirmish Levels” that can be played over and over.
– “Dark Matter Mode” for a stylish, more challenging way to play.
– Original ambient soundtrack by “Milieu”.
– Many procedurally generated levels which are different every time!

Aside from the great art style, something we love to check out when it comes to indie games, Eufloria HD has procedurally generated levels. This gives the game a lot of replay value as every time you play it, nothing will be the same. There are also three different game modes to choose from depending on how you feel at the time. Pick the harder modes if you’re up for a challenge or enjoy a bit more of a relaxed session with the Relaxed Mode.

The more hardcore RTS fan might find this game slightly on the easier side of things but for the average fan of this genre, you will find as much challenge as you like in this game. If you’re up for playing a unique RTS game where you can either be challenged or play a relaxed round on, then you will probably want to pick up Euflora HD. If you do choose to pick up this game, it will set you back $4.99. You can give the game a whirl with the free demo before buying the full version.
