Some interesting news today in the world of game developers, clones, and legal matters. Stolen Couch Games released a puzzle game back in December 2012 called Ichi which has actually done pretty well for itself. The game was made in partnership between Stolen Couch Games and Jay van Hutten, of which the founding members of Stolen Couch Games and Van Hutten were attending the Utrecht School of the Arts together. This is where the eventual creation of Ichi happened.
Fans of Cryptography-style puzzle games have a new one to test their brain power in called Next Quote by Vito Technology. This particular Cryptography game uses the Substitution Cipher, which is one of the oldest and most basic methods of encoding a secret message, that doesn’t mean that this game is easy.
If today is your first time playing Taichi Panda then you won’t realize that there is actually a content update that arrived today with the game’s official release. However, if you have been in the beta then you will notice some changes immediately upon downloading and starting this version of Taichi Panda. This is due to the Teumessian Update which arrived today along with the game’s launch.

Snail Games’ Action-RPG title called Taichi Panda appears to have finally been released globally onto Android which, if you have been following our coverage, was the company’s plans with the game. Last week there was a bit of confusion when the beta for the game expanded the regions it was available in to include the USA and other countries, making some users believe that the game had launched at that time when in reality ti was still in closed beta. That meant character wipes before the launch would still be happening.
What do you get when you blend Crossy Roads with a roguelike procedurally generated dungeon crawler? You get a really fun looking game called Quest Keeper and it will be arriving onto Android soon. However right now we get to check out a new trailer that the developers have released showing off the game.
While fans of Noodlecake Games releases are patiently waiting for the company’s next release this week, Noodlecake has begun teasing another one of their games called Brickies. So what is this game all about? Think of the classic game Breakout, but with a twist to it, and faces on the blocks you are breaking.
NetMarble has announced that they will be releasing a new side-scrolling platformer called Quickboy onto Android next month. This game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world with a steampunk theme to it as you take on the role of Tommy Hawk who needs to find his brother as well as save the world. We’ve contacted Tony Hawk to see if there is any relation between him and Tommy.

While we expected to be streaming the Zenonia S closed beta today, it won’t be starting until later tonight. So in the meantime, we managed to pick up a copy of the Alpha for the Android version of Heroes of SoulCraft, the new MOBA game from Mobilebits. No, we aren’t in Europe but they were cool enough to send us a copy that supports us Americans. After we check that game out, and if there is still time, we will dive into the wonderful world of Silly Sausage in Meat Land, Nitrome’s newest release today.
