Parabellum: Siege of Legends is now up for pre-registration on Android. Developed by Studio Baikin and published by Plug In Digital (on mobile), it’s a medieval war and strategy title. The game launched on Steam for PC this year in May.
Just like a machine gun
The game gives you the responsibility of building an entire city and protecting its wealth. You’ll start by playing as a hero. But the best part is that the story puts you in the shoes of multiple characters across different regions.
Your first task is to turn a humble plot of land into a thriving city. You’ll build farms and mills and open up shops, making your economy grow. It involves proper financial planning to keep hunger and bankruptcy at bay.
Enemies are a constant threat, and that’s where defensive strategy becomes critical. You’ll construct walls, towers, and other fortifications to hold back attacks. You’ll need to anticipate what kind of assaults are coming. No two battles are same, especially as opponents adjust their tactics over time.
You’ll be recruiting and training troops across different classes to form a strong army. From heavily armoured infantry units to skilled archers, you can hire them all. The game places a heavy focus on battlefield tactics, like formations, ambushes, and timely charges.
Parabellum: Siege of Legends on Android Brings Storytelling
The narrative spans across three large factions that dominate the continent. In the fertile Highlands lies an empire built on religion and agriculture. Down in the desert, the Sultanate of Basse-Terre thrives off its iron mines and cultural brilliance.
And far to the north, the Ice Lands are home to warring clans who know only conflict. Through these lands, a rumour spreads. It’s about a woman destined to rise and unite these broken regions under a single banner.
