Phosphor Games shows off the first footage for their upcoming game Horn, confirmed for Android

Yesterday we reported that Phosphor Games, developers of the rather creepy Dark Meadows game for Tegra-based devices, have released a bit of a trailer / video interview regarding their upcoming game for Android called Horn. This game was further confirmed for Android during the Google I/O 2012 Day 1 Keynote event going on this morning.

Horn will definitely be an action-adventure themed title now that we have seen some of the gameplay footage which you can check out in the video below. As we mentioned in yesterday’s article about Horn, this game will be partnered up with Zynga’s new “Zynga Partners for Mobile program” which was announced during Zynga’s press event yesterday.

As you may well be guessing, this will be a free-to-play title supported through in-game purchases although what those could be remains to be seen. The storyline is fairly typical for this sort of game which has you following a young boy on a quest to save a cursed land. Interestingly enough, amidst the onslaught of the casual game titles announced yesterday, Horn is definitely not in that category. As of right now there is now released date for Horn.
