More pinball news coming your way today but this time regarding Pinball Arcade by FarSight Studios. Pinball Arcade is almost the exact opposite of Zen Pinball in terms of the tables it comes with. Both are pinball platforms where you can purchase and play a variety of beautifully rendered pinball tables on your Android device. However, Zen Pinball features completely custom made tables, usually with Marvel themes to them, while Pinball Arcade takes actual pinball tables that existed and makes digital replicas of them for everyone to play.
Both platforms offer up some amazing visuals and pure pinball arcade action and now Pinball Arcade has a few more tables available with the release of Table Pack 7. The two tables being mainly featured in this in pack are the Scared Stiff table, which features Elvira the Mistress of Darkness, and Big Shot, which is an Electro Mechanical table. Also included in this update are the Pro Menu upgrade for Tales of the Arabian Nights. For those of you unfamiliar with the pro menu, it allows you to explore the table by swiping your finger or pinching to zoom, it gives you ball control, it tells you the pro’s tips for the table, and it lets you in to the coin door menu.
All of this is available now so if you have Pinball Arcade installed already, you can go check these goodies out. For those of you who don’t have Pinball Arcade and want to check out what it is like, you can download it off of the Google Play store for free. You can check out the original promo for the Elvira table in the video above which Bally released back in 1996.
