PopCap’s rather popular floral and zombie filled game called Plants vs Zombies 2 has been updated with The Springening update. Sounds scary doesn’t it? Well that is because it is. What is more freaky than a bunch of zombies in rabbit costumes? There isn’t a whole lot that can top that.
The Springening update brings with it 8 new Spring-themed zombies that players will have to deal with. Luckily you will have access to a special edition Dandelion plant that has floating seed bombs to help you deal with the new Spring zombies. These floating seed bombs will explode on impact so placing them in strategic positions is important.
Besides the new special edition plant and the new Spring-themed zombies, The Spingening update also has a new event/game mode called Piñata Party’s new Eggbreaker mode. Players will be able to play for a chance to win 5 freshly-sprouted collectible costumes.
The entire Spring event begins today and runs until April 9th, 2015. So there is just over a week to get all of those collectibles.
