Celebrate Lunar New Year with Play Together by Defeating the Rice Cake Monsters
The Rice Cake Workshop is in the middle of Kaia Island’s Plaza. In celebration of the Year of the Wood Snake, it’s been set up with all the makings of a festive good time. But that’s only until the monsters showed up.
Now, the place is in shambles, and the owner is practically begging for backup. By lending a hand, you can snag some nice rewards. You’ll get a Rice Cake Workshop Top Apprentice Hanbok, shoes to match, a cute hair bun and a Petal Cheopji Accessory.
Before you start planning your workshop makeover, you have some monster hunting to do. The pesky Rice Cake Monsters are lurking all over Kaia Island, from the Plaza to the Camping Ground and even Downtown Korea Travel Center.
You get a pickaxe to track them down, defeat them and collect their Rice Cake Dough. Aside from rebuilding the workshop, you can earn cool stuff like Gems, a 5-Star Card Pack, a Soft and Chewy Name Tag and a Rice Cake Workshop Profile.
Freebies, Freebies and Freebies…
To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Play Together has some easy events that net you freebies. Log into the game for seven days, and you’ll score goodies like the Tteokguk Hairband and a Sebae motion.
You can also head over to the official community page and grab a Lunar New Year coupon. It’ll land you a Lucky Gem Box, a Lizard Egg and three Premium Pet Nutrition Supplements.
Lastly, from January 30th to February 5th, the big event ‘Locating the Missing Rice Cake Dough’ will be on. Gather enough dough, and you’ll unlock prizes like a New Year’s Money Pouch and the VVIP Card Pack.
