Pokémon GO is kicking off another event soon with surprise debuts, bonuses and raids. It’s the Beloved Buddies event which is rolling in soon in Pokémon GO with a first-time appearance from a special mon.
When Is the Beloved Buddies Event Kicking Off in Pokémon GO?
It’s running from February 11th to February 15th. The event is about strengthening your bonds with your Pokémon. Dhelmise is finally making its debut so you can add this Sea Creeper Pokémon to your collection and be ready to take it on in raids.
During the event, catching Pokémon will net you double XP and Lure Modules will last a full hour. The Lures will attract a mix of Pokémon, including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly and Fomantis. If you manage to catch any of them, you’ll also get an extra 500 Stardust per catch.
There’s a solid lineup of wild Pokémon appearing more often during Beloved Buddies. Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce will be popping up more frequently. Expect to see Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly and Fomantis.
Raids are bringing a mix of challenges, from one-star battles to mega fights. In one-star raids, you’ll find Shellder, Dwebble and Skrelp, with Skrelp having an increased shiny rate. Three-star raids feature Slowbro, Hippowdon and the debuting Dhelmise.
Five-star raids will have Enamorus (Incarnate Forme). While Mega Raids are bringing in Mega Tyranitar, which is always a beast. So, check out Pokémon GO on the Google Play Store and dive into the Beloved Buddies event once it drops.
